Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Fellohub.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not create an account on behalf of someone else.
• If your account has been previously terminated or suspended for violating these Terms, you may not register again.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

We use your phone number for authentication. You must have access to the phone number you register with.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Fellohub to:

• Post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene.
• Exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors in any way.
• Share content that constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Spam, solicit, or advertise without our prior written consent.
• Collect or harvest personal information about other users without their consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Fellohub.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of Fellohub or its systems.
• Use Fellohub for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent.

4. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post on Fellohub (photos, plans, messages, etc.). By posting content, you grant Fellohub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the app.

You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse any user content. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines, without notice.

5. Plans & Events

Fellohub is a platform for organising social plans. We are not responsible for the conduct of users at any in-person meetup or event organised through the app.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of plans you create.
• You must not create plans intended to deceive, harm, or exploit other users.
• Hosting a plan does not give you authority over other users.
• We may remove plans that violate these Terms at any time.

6. Reporting & Blocking

If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these Terms, use the in-app Report button on any plan. You can also block any user directly from their plan — this removes their content from your feed immediately and automatically notifies Fellohub.

• To report a plan: open the plan → tap ⋯ → "Report Plan" → select a reason.
• To block a user: open their plan → tap ⋯ → "Block Host" — you won't see their plans anymore.
• To block a user from chat: long press any message → "Block [name]".
• To report a chat message: long press any message → "Report Message".
• Blocking is instant. Blocked users' content and messages disappear from your feed immediately, and our moderation team is automatically notified.
• To manage or unblock users: Profile → Blocked Users.
• All reports are reviewed by the Fellohub team, and we act on objectionable content within 24 hours.
• We remove violating content and eject the users who provided it, and may suspend or permanently ban repeat offenders.

7. Termination & Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to other users or the platform.

• Suspended accounts retain all data for moderation and appeal purposes.
• A cryptographic hash of your phone number is stored indefinitely after a suspension to prevent re-registration.
• You may appeal a suspension by emailing us with the subject "Suspension Appeal".
• You may delete your own account at any time — see our data deletion page for details.

8. Intellectual Property

All Fellohub branding, design, code, and original content are the property of Fellohub and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of Fellohub without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

Fellohub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

We are not responsible for the actions of other users, the content they post, or anything that happens at in-person meetups arranged through the app. Use your judgement and stay safe.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fellohub and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Fellohub shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. For significant changes, we will notify you via the app or email. Continued use of Fellohub after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
